The Maiden track team took 21st place with nine points at the state track meet on May 14 at Mike A Myers Stadium in Austin.
In the 100-meter hurdles, junior Austyn Flowers finished just shy of a medal in ninth place with a time of 14.52 (school record).
In the 300-meter hurdles, sophomore Cambree Crow was fourth with a time of 44.00 (school record), while Flowers was sixth in a time of 44.50.
In the 1600-meter relay, the team of junior Adyson Warren, sophomore Rylee Wolf, freshman Nolee Letkeman and Crow took fifth place with a time of 3:51.10 (school record).
