The Indian track team took second overall in the Plainview meet on Feb. 28 with 113 points.
In 100-meter dash, junior Gavyn Knelsen took first (11.08).
In the 200-meter dash, senior Connor Brown was first (23.04).
In 400-meter dash, junior Johnathan Rodriguez was second (53.69).
In the 400-meter relay, the team of senior Caton Cramer, junior Tyler Friessen, sophomore Jaden Corrales and Knelsen took third (43.95).
In a new school record, the 800-meter relay team of Brown, Friessen, Corrales and Knelsen took second (1:29.33).
The mile relay team of Brown, Friessen, senior Austin Olivas and Rodriguez took third (3:30.00).
In high jump, Rodriguez took sixth (5 feet, 6 inches).
In pole vault, junior Rylan Reames took fourth (13 feet).
In long jump, Friessen took first (20 feet, 4 inches), while Knelsen was second (20 feet, 1 1/2 inches).
In triple jump, Friessen was first (41 feet).
In discus, senior Gabryl Alaniz took fifth (132 feet, 4 inches).
In shot put, Alaniz took first (48 feet, 7 1/2 inches).
