In mathematics, the team of Thiessen, junior Susana Payan-Quintana, junior Avery Wood and junior Addison Armstrong took second overall, with Thiessen qualifying for state as the region champion individually.
In news writing, Beydoun was the region champion.
In number sense, the team of Thiessen, senior Tristan Stixrud, junior Jaxon Hand and junior Mason Rochell took second, while Thiessen took second individually qualifying for state.
On April 22, the speech team took the region championship.
In informative speaking, Sales was fourth and alternate to state.
In persuasive speaking, senior Joey Penner was third, qualifying for state.
In poetry interpretation, Penner was third, qualifying for state.
In prose interpretation, senior Reese Dickson was the region champion.
The one-act play took third place on April 22, becoming the alternate to state. Seniors Nehemiah McCoy and Kobe Cabello made all-star cast, while sophomore Debbi Giesbrecht was honorable mention all-star cast.
