The Indian football team took a 77-38 win over Levelland in a bi-district match up on Nov. 13 in Wolfforth.
While Levelland scored first and traded scores with the Indians during much of the first half, the Indian offense took over in the second half.
The majority of the offense came on running plays. Senior running back Caton Cramer had 19 carries for 170 yards and five touchdowns. Other scores came from senior quarterback Dominick Higgins who rushed for one score and threw to junior receiver Jaycee Robledo for another. Freshman running back Landen Guerra had two rushing scores and junior running back Gavyn Knelsen added another. Senior safety Austin Olivas also took a kick off back for a touchdown. Senior kicker Gabyl Alaniz was perfect on PAT’s with another added by senior Ryan Werdenberg in the fourth quarter.
The Indians will face Glen Rose in the area final at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 in Sweetwater.
