The JV gold Indian basketball team faces Lamesa at 5 p.m. on Friday at home.

The Indians defeated Denver City, 78-24, on Jan. 30, taking their district record to 5-1.

“We shared the ball more, and we work more to better ourselves,” junior guard Jordan Rodriguez said. “We were working on ball handling, keeping our eyes on the court, and not taking stupid fouls. It was the best we have ever beaten a team.”
