Freshman Maidens compete in LISD tournament

The freshman Maiden basketball team pulled out a 32-30 win after a tough battle with Lubbock Cooper on Dec. 9.
“The game was absolutely terrifying,” freshman Kylee Seay said. “That game was a very hectic back and forth fight.”
The leading scorer was freshman Jodie Vaughn with 15 points.
“If we keep up the hard work, we are going to be a forced to be reckoned with,” Vaughn said. “ Our teamwork was a major factor in the game.
