Game: Animal Crossing New Horizons Update 3.0

Animal Crossing: New Horizons received its first major update in more than four years with the release of Version 3.0 on Jan. 14, a day earlier than its originally announced launch date.
The game, which debuted and became especially popular during the COVID-19 pandemic, offered players a sense of routine, creativity and social connection. The new update expands on that experience with several major new features.
Players using the Nintendo Switch 2 now have improved graphics, mouse controls for decorating and artwork, and microphone functionality that allows villagers to be called using an in-game megaphone. Players can either purchase the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game or have data from the original Nintendo Switch and transfer to Nintendo Switch 2, then you can buy an upgraded version of it.
A new hotel has been added to the pier, operated by Kapp’n’s family. Inside, players decorate guest rooms for tourists and earn tickets that can be exchanged for souvenirs at the gift shop. As soon as rooms are decorated, random tourists show up to wander the island. The hotel also allows players to design outfits for visitors and send crafted items to attract more guests.
The update increases home storage capacity from 5,000 to 9,000 items and introduces the return of Resetti, the construction mole, who can reset selected areas of an island or home to help with redecorating. He can even rid your house of roaches.
Another addition is Slumber Island, accessed through Luna, the dream guide. With a Nintendo Switch Online membership, players can design a customizable island, adjusting its size, season, sky and weather.
Version 3.0 also includes a LEGO-themed collaboration and new amiibo content from the Splatoon and The Legend of Zelda series, featuring themed furniture, clothing and villagers.
The update marks the most significant expansion to Animal Crossing: New Horizons since 2021, offering longtime players new tools and reasons to return to the game. The update was kind of perfect because it has been a long time since there was a major update. I recommend the update if you are bored or you just love the game.
