Seven band members earned a place in the Association of Texas Small School Band Region 16 Band as well as a chance to try out for the Area band after auditions on Dec. 13 in Levelland.
All-region band members include junior Mikayla Bush on euphonium (11th chair-honor band, first chair 4A), junior Micah Galvan on clarinet (28th chair honor band, eighth chair 4A ), junior Jaxon Hand on trombone (fifth chair honor band, first chair 4A), freshman Daniel Mares on clarinet (fourth chair honor band, first chair 4A), freshman Giovanny Moreno on trombone (ninth chair honor band, third chair 4A), senior Julie Rezac on flute (third chair honor band, first chair 4A) and freshman Eve Wall Fehr on tuba (sixth chair honor band, third chair 4A).
Area try outs will be in Levelland on Jan. 10.
