Create a study space with an environment for your body to learn and retain information. Switching up your environment can increase your recall.
2 Listen to calming music
If you must have music to study, choose instrumental or classical music without lyrics. Song lyrics can distract from information you are trying to learn.
3 Eliminate distractions
Silence your phone, stay away from background noise like televisions or radios. Stay off social media.
4 Snack on smart food
Avoid highly processed foods, sugary drinks and snacks and foods high in saturated and trans fats like fried foods because they lead to energy crashes, inflammation and negative cognitive memory function.
