The Maiden basketball team fell to Wylie, 78-55,  in the Region I final on Feb. 28 in Lubbock Christian University’s Rip Griffin Center.

Senior McKaylee Weishuhn and junior Kelea Pool were named to the all-region tournament team.

The Maidens advanced to the top eight teams in the state after defeating Godley, 54-37, in the region semifinal on Feb. 27.
