The Maiden basketball team will meet Canyon High in the region quarterfinals at 7 p.m. on Feb. 20 at Lubbock Christian University.
The Maidens took the area title over Clint Mountain View, 81-30, on Feb. 15 in Fort Stockton.
Senior guard Londyn Shain led scoring with 22, while freshman guard Rylee Danley had 18 points on six three-pointers.
The Maidens had 40 rebounds with senior forward Tatum Medlin and sophomore forward Glenda Klassen both leading with eight each.
The team accumulated 14 steals with freshman Austyn Flowers leading with four.
Medlin led the Maidens in assists with six of the team’s 19, while Flowers led in blocks with two.
