Salome Villarreal, Staff Writer
I would describe my personality as patient, funny, loud, witty or as my mom calls it “being a Villarreal”.
I like to read, like heavily. I’m a big fan of romance, true crime and poetry. During the summer I read 26 books, and I probably would have read more if I had time.
I got really into crocheting last year, but I didn’t do it much over the summer because there wasn’t enough time.
I think my main strength is being patient and gentle. I had to learn patience and gentleness with all the babies my sisters kept having.
My weaknesses are that I don’t like to socialize, and that I’m a people pleaser.
I hope to graduate then go to college to be a teacher. I want to teach third grade and lower.
Hopefully after a few years I’d like to go back to school and study criminology.
My basic fear is spiders, but my below-surface-level fear is not having a family. When I was younger I didn’t want to get married and have kids, but now I think I’d like that in the future.
