Freshman football team ties with Fort Stockton

The freshman Indian football team fought to a 20-20 tie with Fort Stockton on Sept. 17, bringing the Indian record to 1-2-1.

The Indians defeated Lubbock Monterey, 50-14, on Sept. 9.

“The line stayed steady and pulled through,” freshman quarterback Jordan Rodriguez said. “This was our first game we have won playing for the school ever.”

The freshmen will face Lubbock High on Sept. 24.
