District 4-4A honors volleyball players and coach
The Maiden volleyball team finished its season with a 35-7 record, going undefeated in district, taking a bi-district title over San Elizario and falling in four games to Dalhart in the area championship.
“The girls had a phenomenal season,” Coach Jacqueline Horton said. “I cannot express in words how much this group of young ladies means to me…We had a great ride that ended way earlier than we had hoped.”
