The JV Maidens will see first district action on Jan. 3 in Shallowater.

The Maidens moved their record to 5-1 after defeating Greenwood, 52-23, on Dec. 17.

“Our new coaching staff is working hard getting us to feed the ball to the post,” sophomore Lindsey Wimmer said. “I feel like we are doing a lot better in that aspect of things. Competition in district will definitely be tougher. Ball security and transition need to become stornger. No turnovers.”
