Mine, mine– Freshman Krystal Oviedo takes the ball out of the air during play against Greenwood on Dec. 17. The Maidens took the win, 50-7.

The freshman Maiden basketball team will take on Grady’s JV at 3 p.m. today in the auxiliary gym after bringing its record to 3-0 with a 50-7 win over Greenwood on Dec. 17.

“It was awesome,” freshman Brogen Purser said. “I love how we all played as a team.”

The Maidens have seen very little action this season due to cancellations and weather complications.

“The season is slow, but we’ve all gotten better as a team,” Purser said. “It felt good to play, but I wish we had had more playing time.”
