Junior defensive back Sabraun Adams snags a potential Panther touchdown for one of his two interceptions during the homecoming win on Sept. 13. The Indians defeated Fort Stockton, 39-7.

The Indians combined for six touchdowns and 385 yards rushing to defeat the Fort Stockton Panthers during homecoming festivities on Sept. 13.

Scoring came from senior runningback Addison Parum led all rushing with 211 yards and two touchdowns; junior back Sabraun Adams had 65 yards rushing, three touchdowns and two interceptions; junior back Dustin Lira 10 yards rushing and one touchdown as well as three extra point kicks.

Junior defensive back Justin Hernandez had an interception, and senior linebacker Brice Gibbons had a quarterback sack.

“Great job by the defense,” Coach Chris Burtch said. “The defense forced four turnovers, two inside the red zone. The offensive ground attach amassed 400 yards behind a great effort by the offensive line.”
