For the 23rd year in a row, members of the culinary classes have prepared play dough for elementary students. Julie Jameson’s culinary classes in conjunction with SkillsUSA donated 58 batches of the dough to students at F.J. Young Elementary.

“Our goal was to encourage fun in learning, support the local teachers and be role models for younger students,” Jameson said.

Culinary classes along with five club members (seniors Lisa Rempel, Evalin Friesen, Rita Klassen, Bianca Galvan and Katy Beth Lashaway) prepared and distributed the play dough as well as spent time in the pre-K classes working with students as they tried out the new play dough.
