Four journalists took places in UIL journalism events in the 4A division of the statewide contest sponsored by the Texas Association of Journalism Educators in December.

In news writing, senior Anna Teichroeb took fourth and junior Dusty Barron was sixth.

In feature writing, Teichroeb was first and Barron took second.

In editorial writing, Barron was ninth.

In copyediting (pilot which will become official UIL contest next year), junior Jessenia Balderas took first and sophomore Dustie Beaubien was second.
