Nineteen vocallists made the all-region choir and earned the right to tryout at the area level on Nov. 16 for the all state choir.

The alll-region tryouts were held at Cooper High School on Sept. 30.

The all-region choir concert will be at Coronodo High School in Lubbock on Nov. 11.

Advancing as Alto 1 were senior Jamie Philipp as fifth chair, junior Abi Avitia Lopez as seventh chair and sophomore Isabella Friesen as eighth chair.

Advancing as Alto 2 were senior Juliet Rempel as third chair, senior Courtney Blair, freshman Karlissa Rempel as seventh chair, and freshman Robin Franklin as eighth chair (junior Barbara Landeros Capetillo first alternate).

Advancing as Soprano 1 were freshman Lisa Klassen in second chair, senior Lori Wilson in third chair, freshman Carrie Quiring in sixth chair, freshman Janessa Neufeld in seventh chair (sophomore Cassey Thiessen first alternate).

Advancing as Soprano 2 were senior Abigail Wolf in second chair, freshman Samantha Gutierrez in fourth chair, and freshman Amber Wilkey in fifth chair.

Advancing as Tenor 1 were junior Seth Allain in second chair, and freshman Kaillon Sawatsky in fourth chair.

Advancing in Bass 1 were freshman Moises Ybaben Burciaga in fourth chair and junior Josh Ramirez in fifth chair.

Advancing in Bass 2 was junior Austin Shortes in first chair. Tryouts for the area choir and advancement to state choir will be Nov. 16 at First Methodist Church in Lubbock.
