Pride of the Tribe advances to area marching competition

Taking+the+field--%0ADrum+majors+juniors+Michelle+Guevara+Gonzalez+and+Jordan+Lashaway+lead+the+Pride+of+the+Tribe+onto+Lowrey+Field+in+Lubbock+on+Oct.+18.+The+band+took+an+overall+Division+I+to+advance+to+area+competition+on+Oct.+25+in+Lubbock.

Taking the field– Drum majors juniors Michelle Guevara Gonzalez and Jordan Lashaway lead the Pride of the Tribe onto Lowrey Field in Lubbock on Oct. 18. The band took an overall Division I to advance to area competition on Oct. 25 in Lubbock.

The Pride of the Tribe advanced to the area level on Oct. 18 as it took a Division I, II, I split for an overall Division I rating at region marching contest at Lowrey Field in Lubbock.

Other 4A bands in the region competition included Levelland which took a Division I to advance and Estacado which took a Division II.

The Pride of the Tribe will compete at area at Lowrey Field again on Oct. 25 in the area contest. The contest will begin at 9 a.m. with Seminole listed as the 16th band to perform in 4A.
