Rosa Peters, Photography Editor/The BEAT Staff
Hello! As you all may know, my name is Rosa Isela…No Isela is not my middle name; it’s my second name. Don’t ask me what my middle name is.
Okay, now something else about me. I have been in journalism for three years now. This is my second year of photojournalism, which I love by the way! Looking through the lens is the best way to look at life. It’s the reason I continue to come back to this class, other than of course the awesome teacher ;D.
Since this year we are reflecting on the past, I will share a little about my own… I have read many books in my life, more than your average teen, and I have been writing fictional stories for many years. Though my spelling skills are still bad, they have improved since I started. Still, don’t ask me to spell out anything for you. Having been told many times that I have a bubbly, happy-go-lucky, personality, let’s just stick with that, shall we?
I always end my bio with a quote, so I will do that again for my final year…
“I have much to write to you, but I do not want to use paper and ink. Instead, I hope to visit you and talk with you face to face, so that our joy may be complete. –2 John 1:12”
This verse expresses me a lot because I usually like looking at someone while I talk to them because that way our conversations go on and on more smoothly.
I hope to have a great senior year with everyone in room 410.
