As you can see my name is Alex. Most people just call me X! I really don’t know why, but I like it.
I’m a really simple man. I pole vault and I sing. I always kid about all you need in life is Jesus, pole vault, and music. My father is the choir director here at Seminole High School, so I guess you could say I was born singing! Last year I got the opportunity to try out for the all-state choir, but unfortunatley I missed the choir by a few places.
My true passion is pole vault. Everything I do is based off of vaulting. My diet, my workouts, my attitude, my lifestyle are all geared toward pole vault. If I’m not vaulting I’m either thinking about it or watching videos of pole vaulters. My sophmore year I made it to the regional track meet and missed qualifying for state by one vault. Not making state only made me better, and I’m going to return to the regional meet next year better and stronger. Well that’s all for now! Don’t forget that Jesus loves you!!! :)
