The Indian and Maiden powerlifting teams each took third at the Slaton meet on Jan. 18.
The Maidens took third with 32 points.
In the 114-pound division, junior Stephanie Whitsitt took third, squatting 180 pounds, benching 65 pounds and dead lifting 200 pounds for a total of 445 pounds.
In the 123-pound division, junior Azaya Navarro took fourth, squatting 200 pounds, benching 95 pounds and deadlifting 195 pounds for a total of 490 pounds.
In the 132-pound division, freshman Destiny Neeld took first, squatting 200 pounds, benching 100 pounds and dead lifting 225 pounds for a total of 525 pounds. Junior Yumalai Roblero Perez took second, squatting 165 pounds, benching 80 pounds and dead lifting 220 pounds for a total of 465 pounds.
In the 148-pound division, sophomore Marylin Hinojosa took third, squatting 190 pounds, benching 95 pounds and dead lifting 215 pounds for a total of 500 pounds.
In the 181-pound division, sophomore Karolyn Caballero took fourth, squatting 175 pounds, benching 85 pounds and deadlifting 220 pounds for a total of 480 pounds.
In the 198-pound division, senior Alexia Gonzales was first, squatting 360 pounds, benching 200 pounds and dead lifting 340 pounds for a total of 900 pounds.
In the 242+ pound division, freshman Mikayla Bush took third, squatting 205 pounds, benching 95 pounds and deadlifting 200 pounds for a total of 500 pounds.

In the 198-pound division, sophomore Hall Hadley was fourth, squatting 335 pounds, benching 205 pounds and dead lifting 395 pounds for a total of 935 pounds. Senior Austin Vanriper took fifth, equating 3645 pounds, benching 225 pounds and deadlifting 330 pounds for a total of 920 pounds. Junior Austin Vizcayno was sixth, squatting 365 pounds, benching 175 pounds and dead lifting 325 pounds for a total of 865 pounds. Freshman Hiram Gaytan took seventh, squatting 305 pounds, benching 185 pounds and dead lifting 330 pounds for a total of 820 pounds.
