Apparently predicting the NCAA men’s basketball champion can neither be decided with acumen or aesthetics as our two staffers came down to a tie in the end. Although officially the their tournament bracket scores are the same, junior Blue Franklin did pick Louisville to go to the finals and senior Crystal Fehr chose Wichita State. Since Wichita State beat Louisville, Franklin officially wins. It looks like Fehr will be treating at Toony’s.
Is predicting the NCAA champion a job for the sports fanatic who researches, watching highlights, looking at records, playing odds against skill level–or is it a random selection based on pretty colors and cute mascots? The War Whoop will put it to the test with two staffers going head to head with their brackets.
Junior Blue Franklin with his extensive knowledge of players, records and sports history will go against senior Crystal Fehr who has no knowledge and/or interest in college basketball. (THEIR BRACKETS ARE POSTED IN THE SPORTS SECTION OF THIS WEBSITE.)
Follow the coverage as the War Whoop determines whether acumen or aesthetics can pick a national college basketball champion.
