The freshman football team will play at Midland Christian at 5 p.m. on Sept. 20.
“We feel like we have a chance to compete against anyone that we play if we correct the mistakes we made against Idalou,” Coach Herb Rios said.
The Indians lost to the Idalou Wildcats, 46-0, on Sept. 6 bringing their record to 1-1.
“We played a good first game [14-0 against Merkel],” Rios said. “We had let downs in key areas [against Idalou] that we never recovered.”
