The FFA livestock judging team competed at state on May 5-7 at Texas A&M. Sophomore Bryce Winfrey took 10th place out of 348 individuals at this competition. The team also included sophomore Zeth Henson, senior Beaux LeBlanc and sophomore Rusty Lanier.
The livestock judging team including sophomore Cameron Foote took sixth at the area competition in Lubbock on April 9. The entomology team senior Jesus Dominguez, Henson, sophomore Megan Latta, senior Meagan James and freshman Buck Pitcox took second at area competition.
At Clarendon College on April 2, Winfrey tied for second out of 497 in livestock judging, and the team took eighth out of 166. The entomology team took eighth out of 24.
At West Texas A&M on April 1, Winfrey was third out of 615, as the livestock team placed 16th out of 198. The entomology team was 10th out of 25.
