Sophomore Rusty Lanier took fifth place with a heavy weight medium wool lamb and sophomore Bryce Winfrey took sixth at the San Angelo Stock Show Feb. 19-26.
At the San Antonio Stock Show during the week of Feb. 10-19, Winfrey was awarded the blue ribbon in class 14 medium wool lamb class and advanced to the championship drive for the medium wool division.
Also at San Antonio, Lanier took second place with his finewool crossbred lamb and represented SHS FFA again in the championship drive for the crossbred class. Lanier also took home the reserve supreme champion breeding ewe and the reserve champion Hampshire breeding ewe awards in the junior show. In the open show Lanier won reserve champion Hampshire.
Henson placed second with his medium weight Southdown lamb during the Fort Worth Livestock Show during the first week of February. He represented SHS FFA in the championship drive for the Southdown division. Winfrey also brought home a sixth place and a 10th place with his medium wool lambs.
