Seniors and their parents can get help with the Free Application for Student Aid (FAFSA) in Lab 109 on Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. THE MEETINGS SCHEDULED FOR WEDNESDAY, FEB. 2, HAVE BEEN RESCHEDULED FOR FEB. 9.
Career Counselor Kim Dierschke said seniors should watch the mail for a letter which gives more details.
Parents can call Dierschke at the high school or email her to set up a time slot for the FAFSA session which will be conducted by representatives from Odessa College.
To fill out the application, seniors will need:
•Social Security card
•driver’s license
•2010 W-2 forms and other records of money earned
•2010 Federal Income Tax Return
•parents’ 2010 Federal Income Tax Return (if you are a dependent student)
•student’s 2010 untaxed income records (and spouse’s if married)
•current bank statements
•current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond and other investment records
•alien registration or permanent resident card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
