The speech and debate team took a fifth place sweepstakes at the Texas Tech Red Raider Speech and Debate tournament on Sept. 11.
“I feel like we have a lot of talent on the team,” senior Savanna Winn said. “We do need a lot of hard work in order to achieve the success I know we can have. I’m proud that we placed at the tournament, but we look forward to better results in the future.”
