One-act play advances to regionals
State Champions–The one-act play took the state championship on May 26 for the second consecutive year.
The one-act play The Night Thoreau Spent in Jail advanced to regional competition on April 18 after performing at area in Midland.
Sophomore Nikki Loewen was named best actress while juniors Blayne Childers and Kelby Miller were part of the all-star cast. Junior Daniel Griffin was chosen as honorable mention all-star cast.
The SHS crew was praised as outstanding with senior Sarah Shirley singled out as outstanding crew member.
The cast and crew will perform at regionals on April 22 at Texas Tech.
