Hey there! It’s currently the second day of school, and I’m exhausted. This is my first year of journalism and also my last because I'm a senior. I believe my job is to take pictures, but I’m not totally sure yet.
Now it’s time to talk about me! I like to think I’m a funny person. I love to make people laugh. It makes me feel like I've fulfilled my life's purpose. One thing about me is that I'm never available. I’m either always working or sleeping. I’ve been a band nerd since junior high but sadly had to quit this year. Music plays a big role in my life and the type of mood I'm in. I often listen to super upbeat music because I enjoy being able to dance and have fun with the music.
I joined photojournalism this year for the simple reason that I love photography. I think it’s crazy how you can capture different emotions with the right picture and it tells a story. I can’t wait to learn my way around the camera and be able to tell stories with my own pictures. My job on staff is to take pictures and interview the people in the photos–you know, just journalist things.
The word I chose was multiperspectivity. I honestly didn’t even know that was a word until I searched it up. The word definitely fits me as a person because I am one to look at situations through the eyes of others. I know everyone's experiences are different, so I like to be open to different perspectives.
