Armine Sandoval, Staff Writer/Photographer

This is my first year in journalism. I am a beginner, so I don't know a lot about this stuff, so hopefully this class goes well for me.

I am a junior soon to be senior. I moved here from Hobbs, N.M. in 2020. I am Hispanic, and I love drawing, I have been drawing since I was in sixth grade.

My favorite thing to do is play softball. I have been playing since I was six years old, and I hope to play for a college one day.

One of my biggest pet peeves is when students pick on other students because what do people get out of that? It doesn’t do them any good, so what’s the point of it? If you don’t like someone that does not mean you should bring them down. It’s not like you have to love them. Always be kind to people because in the end, you never know how they might take it.

I chose this class because a friend of mine told me it was a fun class, and I took it so that I can experience new things and see if I like it. So far this class is really easy, and I really like it. I like it so much that I had to change my schedule and ask for another period here. The only difference is I am also taking photojournalism, and I think I'm going to love it.

That was a little bit about me. I am not very good at talking about myself ,so I think that's all I have to say. Thanks for reading.
