UIL changes basketball rules for fouls and free throws

November 2, 2023

The UIL has eliminated one and one free throws for fouls for all junior high and high school basketball.

The bonus for team fouls will now begin at five each quarter. Upon the fifth foul, the free throw shooter will automatically get two shots.
