Both the Indian and Maiden cross country teams qualified for regional competition after placing third in the district meet on Oct. 9 in Andrews.
Four individuals also qualified for regionals which will be held at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock on Oct. 23. For the Maidens, freshman Addison Armstrong took third overall, while junior Ashley Vizcaino took ninth. For the Indians, senior Daniel Lapusan took sixth, while senior Eduardo Rodarte was 10th.
