Men’s swim relay makes state appearance
State qualifiers–The 400-yard freestyle relay team of juniors Landon Elder, Eduardo Rodarte, Blake Neufeld and senior Shayne Howard became first swimming state qualifiers since 2008.
The Aqua Tribe’s men’s 400-yard freestyle relay took 14th at state on Feb. 14.
The team of juniors Landon Elder, Eduardo Rodarte, Blake Neufeld and senior Shayne Howard recorded a time of 3:51.05 in the prelims and 3:58.10 in the finals.
The swimmers were the first state qualifiers from Seminole since Kyra Briscoe in 2007 and 2008.
