Maidens advance to sweet sixteen with win over Big Spring

Region quarterfinal champs–The Maidens advance to the region semifinals on Feb. 22 after an 85-12 win over the Big Spring Lady Steers in Andrews.

The Maiden basketball team will face Decatur in the region semifinal at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Lubbock Christian University.

The Maidens will be the home team. Admission for the event will be $5 for students and $10 for adults. No passes will be accepted and no online tickets will be sold.

The Maidens took the region quarterfinal win over Big Spring, 85-12, on Feb. 21 in Andrews.

The leading scorer for the Maidens was sophomore guard Londyn Shain with 28, followed by senior guard Melody Martinez with 19 and senior guard Xoe Rosalez with 12.
