Maidens to take on Dumas in area round

The Maiden basketball team will face Dumas in the area round on Feb. 17 at Plainview High School.

The Maidens will be the home team. Adult admission is $4 and student admission is $2.

The Maidens defeated El Paso Riverside, 84-36, in bi-district action on Feb. 14 in Alpine.

Sophomore guard Londyn Shain led scoring with 23 followed by enior guard Melody Martinez with 22 points.
