In cross-examination debate senior Kevin Wallace and junior Shawn Barndollar took second, while junior Jadon Hatley and sophomore Jimmie Vaughan took second.
In Lincoln-Douglas debate, senior Jasmine Ruiz took first.
In foreign extemporaneous speaking, Hatley was first.
In duet acting, senior Bryan Rickman and Barndollar took first, junior Alexis Hastings and Hatley took second, sophomore Alissa Wright and sophomore Abe Harder took fourth and junior Christian Tovar and senior Tonya Sodd took fifth.
In prose, freshman Kelby Miller was secondfreshman Will Gerber was fourth, sophomore Trey Cates was fifth and Harder was sixth.
In poetry, junior Cody Ealy was first, sophomore John Paul Sales was second, Harder was third, Tovar was fourth and Hastings was sixth.
In humorous interpretation, Rickman was first, freshman Blayne Childers was fifth and sophomore Ryder Mata was sixth.
In dramatic interpretation, Rickman was third and junior Dakota Crump was fifth.
Rickman was named outstanding in interpretation events.
Hatley, Ruiz and Rickman qualified for Texas Forensic Association state competition in Dallas in March.
