Three of the FFA’s leadership teams advanced to area competition after competing in district in Seminole on Nov. 7.

The greenhand quiz team of freshman Carlee Cottrell and three eighth graders took first in district.

The senior skills team of sophomore Jase Warlick, senior Ashlyn Hyatt, senior Brooke Archuleta and sophomore Glenda Giesbrecht took second.

The senior quiz team of senior Danni George, junior Ashley Schmitt, freshman Chase Elrod, sophomore Addison Shook, freshman Noah Gillit Alvidrez, freshman Mason Sawatzky, senior Blayne Shook and senior Landon Sawatzky took second.

Area competition will be at Ira High School on Nov. 19.
