Three SkillsUSA members qualify for nationals

State+champions--SkillsUSA+Auto+Tech+seniors+Luzelina+Perez+and+Isyss+Flores+hold+up+the+awards+they+and+senior+Dylan+Klassen+took+for+promotional+bulletin+board+at+state+on+April+3.+The+threesome+took+the+gold+at+state%2C+qualifying+them+for+nationals+in+Atlanta+in+June.

The promotional bulletin board team from SkillsUSA Auto Tech qualified for nationals after placing first in the state at the state convention in Corpus Christi on April 1-3. The team of seniors Isyss Flores, Luzelena Perez and Dylan Klassen will take their bulletin board entry to state in Atlanta in June.

SkillsUSA Health Sciences junior Gabriella Moreno placed second at state in health occupation professional portfolio.

The SkillsUSA Cosmetology quiz bowl team took a bronze medal. Team members include senior Emily Alvarez, senior Kendra Elias, senior Jssmine Guenther, senior Mandy Wiebe, junior Allie Deleon, junior Naomi Galindo, junior Arielle Alvidrez.
