SkillsUSA Family Consumer Sciences completes service projects

Sweet surprise– SkillsUSA junior Bianca Galvan, senior Johana Moreno and junior Katelyn Loeppky present cakes to school board members Chad Rosalez, David Stone and Shane Wimmer during the Feb. 18 trustees’ meeting.

The new SkillsUSA Family Consumer Sciences club baked and decorated cakes to be presented to the school board in order to thank them for their support of career and technology education (CTE).

Junior Bianca Galvan, junior Katelyn Leoppky and senior Johana Moreno presented the completed cakes to the board at its February  meeting.

The chapter also honored veterans during home basketball games with a special seat and prepared message over the public address system.
