Cheer squad advances in American Spirit Challenge

The cheerleader competition squad took first place in the small varsity division of the American Spirit Challenge in Lubbock City Bank Coliseum on Dec. 14.
“I’m so proud of my competition team,” cheer sponsor Suzanne Overton said. “They didnt do anything wrong.”
The squad will advance to competition at the Six Flags Championship in Arlington.
