Threesome advances to all-state choir
All-state choir members–Seniors Eli Call, Jordan Neufeld and sophomore Aubrey Brown qualified for the all-state choir during auditions on Jan. 8. They will perform with the all-state choir in February.
Three vocalists became members of the Texas Music Educators Association All-state Small School Choir on Jan. 8 after auditions at Midland Legacy High School.
Senior Eli Call took second chair in the tenor section. sophomore Aubrey Brown took sixth chair in the alto section, and senior Jordan Neufeld took seventh chair in the tenor section.
The top eight competitors in each of the four vocal sections advances to the all-state group.
The trio will practice and then perform with the all-state choir during TMEA’s convention in San Antonio on Feb. 9-12.
