The Indian basketball team took their play-off run up to the final two seconds of the region final on March 4, when a Midlothian Heritage’s Kerrion Fields sunk a three-pointer to take a state berth away, 56-55.

The Indians defeated Life School Waxahachie 58-50 in the region semifinal.

Juniors Clayton Medlin and Reese Moore were named to the Region One All-Tournament Team.
