The Maiden basketball team took a 63-39 win over Canyon West Plains on Feb. 10 to take the bi-district championship in Wolfforth.
Sophomore guard Rylee Danley led Maiden scoring with 15 which included five three-pointers. Junior guard Jordan Danley followed with 14 points which included three three-pointers.
The Maidens accumulated 32 rebounds in the win. Sophomore forward Austyn Flowers led in rebounding with nine, while junior forward Glenda Klassen had seven.
The Maidens will face San Elizario in the area round at 3 p.m. on Thursday in Fort Stockton.
