As it goes...hours turn into days, days into weeks, and when all else seems to fail, weeks will eventually turn into years. As my final year of high school rolls into action, I realize I have not been as involved as I could be. Senior year I told myself I’d try some new things, and I hope I could encourage others to do the same.

Some interesting facts about me now may include my love of food. I really enjoy anything bread-related, mac and cheese and french fries.

My favorite colors consist of teal and yellow.

In all of my years of high school I have been a participant in choir, but over the years I’ve changed sports and electives many times. I don’t regret doing them or leaving them because all of them led me to grow. As a senior I decided to try journalism and step out of my comfort zone as I take on the role of mascot. Though I haven’t lived in Seminole for very long, I still wanted to make a difference and show that our community could once again come together.

As life goes on I remember and would like to share this thought. “We are all a little weird and life's a little weird, and we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours. We join up with them and fall into mutual weirdness and call it love.” -Dr. Suess
