The Maiden cross country team took third place as a team to advance to the region meet on October. 21.
Two of the Maidens, juniors Addison Armstrong and Sunni Casarez advanced as individuals by placing in the top ten of the district race on Oct. 6 in Andrews.
The regional race will begin at 9 a.m. at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock.
