The Indian basketball team defeated San Elizario, 45-40, to win the area championship in Fort Stockton on Feb. 21.
The Indians will face Estacado at 7 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Rip Griffin Center in the region semifinal game.
Leading scorer for the Indians against San Elizario was sophomore guard Tristan Flemons with 14, followed by junior guard Jordan Garcia with 11 and junior guard Logan McCormick with seven.
The Indians had 15 rebounds with junior forward Caron Cramer leading with five.
The Indians also had 15 steals, eight of which were Garcia’s.
