The Maiden basketball team took a 69-23 win over the San Elizario Lady Eagles on Feb. 13, propelling them to a region semifinal contest versus Decatur. The Maidens will play Decatur at 6 p.m. Feb. 17 at Clyde High School.
Leading scorer for the Maidens was sophomore forward Austyn Flowers with 14 points. Flowers also led in rebounding with 11 of the Maidens 34 total.
The Maidens combined for 19 assists with sophomore Rylee Danley leading with four.
The Maidens took 17 steals overall. Flowers and sophomore guard Miley Bates led with four a piece.
